The company Šakić d.o.o., with significant support from the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has implemented the project:
“Treatment of rainwater from roof surfaces and oily and greasy water from the operational plateau.”
The total value of the project is BAM 448,136.10. The project was co-financed by the Environmental Protection Fund of FBiH in the amount of BAM 268,000.00.
The project has a highly positive environmental impact, particularly regarding the wastewater treatment component. Without the implementation of this project, such water would, at best, end up in the sewer system. The treatment outlined in the project, which includes collection and filtration, will make the polluted water clean enough for industrial use within the company’s own production process, without harming the environment.
